A special education teacher must have paticents, consideration and compation for their students and be willing work hard to help them meet their educacional goald at their highest potential posiable. Special education teachers must be able to work with a support team such as other teachers, counselors, the IEP team, principles and other outside support people such as parents, lawers, mential health specialest as well as the courts systems, to assure the special education student's paper work and the IEPs are kept up to date and that the students rights are protected and to assure that the students is getting the best education posiable. Many time the special education teacher must also be the case manager who will work on all of the above components on the student's behalf. Special education teachers has a chanlanging job however manny of them develop a special relationship with their students that no one else has once the student learn to trust them and know that they are working in his or her best intress.
